Apollo Power Systems was entrusted with building the entire electrical infrastructure for TUV SÜD’s new state-of-the-art R&D center in Devanahalli. The project scope involved a combination of design, execution, compliance, and commissioning activities to ensure uninterrupted power and safety.

The scope included:

  • Securing all required government approvals for power sanctioning.

  • Supplying, installing, testing, and commissioning the HT yard, which included a 1.6 MVA transformer, 2 × 750 kVA diesel generators, and HT & LT control panels.

  • Establishing a comprehensive distribution network with power receptacles and distribution boards.

  • Installing internal and external lighting systems across the facility.

  • Implementing a robust earthing system for maximum safety and reliability.

Key Highlights:

  • Successfully created a dual power source infrastructure to guarantee uninterrupted supply.

  • Executed a 1.1 km trenchless cable installation, seamlessly connecting the BESCOM power grid to the client’s premises.

  • Delivered the project with complete compliance to safety, reliability, and quality standards expected at an international R&D center.
